ILL Manors Radio 1


The BBC is a public broadcaster and there to inform, educate and entertain its audiences, this has been done successfully with Plan B being on Radio 1 as he has spoken about the problems he has had of being in all parts in the film making of ill manors which was the editing, directing and making all the music that will be in the film. Plan B talks about the problems that he found which were that he has not been to his house in week but sleeping on the sofa at the studio, these are examples of how BBC radio 1 had informed , educated and entertain there audiences. Plan B and the presented Fearne Cotton Talk about his work and make emphasis of when the film is coming out and when his album is coming out this helps promote his film and his album which means that he can create customer awareness. The interview starts of by talking about plan B being tired and sleeping in the studio the present then says “so you have been creating tunes and then came straight here” plan b says “if you could call a leather sofa a bed yhh” he then talks about how he had been shooting the previous night, small shots for his film ill manors close up of mobile phones and so on. He then talks about that he is writing the song for ill manors that didn’t exists until last night. The show concentrate on how much hard work has gone in from plan B and how much he had done in order to make the film what it is. Plan B then talks about the struggles he faced with the finance and so he made his album hoping to get money but never left ill manors until he could make it possible, he then talks about his career as a director and that he wants to carry on directing and continue making films. Radio 1 also play Plan B’s new song ill manors this has been done to help promote his music but create awareness for radio 1 audience, but also suggests that Radio 1’s audience are the type of people that listen to plan B’s music. Plan B talks about a range of his products such as his film , song and album which is an example of his synergy, but is done in order to make audiences aware of what he is doing and what he has done. BBC Radio 1 has a target audience of 15-29 year olds the radio is aimed to provide a range of new music and to support new emerging artists especially from the UK. The audiences that this would appeal to would appeal to psychographics mainstreamer’s because they follow the crowd and also respond to big established brands like BBC radio 1.
